Microneedling

Natural stimulation of collagen and elastin production to improve skin tone and texture, and minimise fine lines, wrinkles, scars, stretch marks, and more

The collagen and elastin in our skin is responsible for its firmness and elasticity, which contributes to an overall youthful appearance. However, factors such as sun damage and the natural ageing process results in the loss of these vital skin components, along with the emergence of dark spots (hyperpigmentation), fine-lines, and wrinkles.

Microneedling is a minimally invasive medical treatment that can be used on both the face and body. It uses very fine needles to puncture the skin, causing ‘micro-trauma’ to these areas. This activates the body’s natural healing process leading to the stimulation of collagen and elastin production. Ultimately, the skin becomes firmer and more elastic, clear and even-toned.

Microneedling also minimises the appearance of scars (including acne scars), stretch marks, enlarged pores, fine-lines and wrinkles, and helps support regrowth of thinning hair. Although most commonly used on the face, microneedling can also be used to address skin concerns on the neck, décolletage, and anywhere on the body.

The Face Chemist uses medical-grade, results-driven Derma 2.0 Serums during treatment to target specific skin concerns such as pigmentation, scarring, cellulite, thinning hair, etc. This provides a bespoke skin treatment to address individual skin concern(s).
